Watery Commons Deptford with Everyone Welcome Collective.

Everyone Welcome Collective led a unique walk as part of InspiralLondon Hydrodetours’ exploration of watery commons in Deptford.

Meeting at 10am at Deptford Bridge DLR. SEE map below – on the side of the bridge where the buses turn around – the opposite side of the road to the Co-op Supermarket.

The walk began at the river Ravensbourne in Brookmill Park where Friends of Brookmill Park shared their experiences of maintaining this waterway and green corridor while protecting access for wildlife and local communities. From here we followed the tide down Deptford Creek to the River Thames, completing our walk at Convoys Wharf, the site of the former Royal Tudor Dockyard.
