Segment 3 Finsbury Park to SouthWark London Bridge

For this midnight walk along InspiralLondon Trail we will be meeting the other residents of London and the City that appear by night – looking for nocturnal fauna: bats such as the common pipistrelle (A single pipistrelle can eat 3,000 tiny insects in just one night); night insects like the death head hawkmoth, beetle or crickets; urban inhabitants such as the fox or the rat. As dusk falls we will also explore the scents and touch of flora by night.

Following on the success of InspiralLondon’s Midnight walk for the opening of National Park City Week 2018, this walk takes a similiar approach; by inviting participants and associate artists to join in a number of interactive and entertaining urban ecologistes activities as we wend our way clockwise along the 300 mile trail back into the centre, passing through the City of London by night. Our estimated time arrival at London Bridge will be 1 to 1.30am. A night service runs from the station/underground plus option of numerous night buses.
