Re/Walking Woolwich Docklands – Borough of Sancturay Research BH365

Sanctuary – Rewalking Woolwich Docklands Research Evening 5pm-7pm on Thursday 27th February (and before if you have time we meet 3-4pm  in Clockhouse Community Cafe to join a gentle walk exploration around the old Clockhouse Riverside location):

This open workshop meeting is the second of a series of research workshops and walks designed to share and explore the area – with a focus on the area as a Haven and Sanctuary.  The research builds to InspiralLondon’s walk festival – Songlines for Greenwich – and our further Re/Walking festival (May-Sept 2025). All are welcome to join and contribute ideas, research and shared experiences.

We will have some light refreshments and will look at the maps/streets, research resources and some visual material to focus our attention on the places, people and narrative streams we might wish to refollow and retell new stories.

And we are delighted to be working once again with Clockhouse Community Centre and with Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park.

Note: other new  partner events will take place in Spring 2025.
