FreeSoundings and Sound Ecology – Experiencing and listening to London as National Park City
Delightful dusk walk to celebrate London as National Park City – we launching Soundcamp’s commission for InspiralLondon Trail (segment 24 – Chingford Meridian), this guided walk leads you through a variety of soundscapes and urban environments (along the river Thames, over the Blackwall Tunnel, at dusk in Greenwich Park, crossing Blackheath meadows, to descend into Lewisham by nighttime). Sharing and exploring approaches to sound ecology, listening and experiencing London as National Park City. The route follows and crosses the Greenwich meridian on a number of occassions. As we explore the sound ecology of the spaces and places we pass through we will take a number of soundings along segment 11 of InspiralLondon Trail.
