Rescheduled -Word Object Walk 1 – Part Canal, River Runs & Waterways.

FreeDue to new Covid19 restrictions this walk is rescheduled for December 6 Meet at 11am Sunday at exit Wood Green Station – (Walk subject to current Covid regulations)
Join us for an exploration of hidden rivers, water courses, canals, drains and reservoirs as we continue on the ground mapping of London’s Thames Valley Water system along Pymmes Brook and its intersection with the New River Canal. This walk detours from the start of Segment 15. We will meet at Wood Green Station exit at 11 am to walk back along segment 15/14 towards Lea Valley and the reservoir system that feeds London’s thirsty populations. During the walk a number of antidote Word Object signs will installed along the trail.
This walk is part of a year long exploration – InspiralLondon’s on the ground mapping of the Thames Valley water system within Metropolitan zone. Come and discover the hidden, the lost and the beauty of London’s watery undercurrent as we float away towards the tidal Thames.
Walks are open and free to public – but please support the project with a suggested donation of min £5 max £10 helps support the project. Please bring light refreshments or packed lunch.
